| G.P.Davis &
Son was established in 1959 by my father Gordon Peter Davis. Myself,
Darryl Davis, became a partner when I left school in 1980 and I qualified with
Distinctions in 1983. When my father retired in 1990 I become sole proprietor.
My wife Dawn became a partner in 1998 and she now handles the office-based side
of the business. |

| Since 1992 we have grown considerably.
First, I employed and trained Jason Clark. We then welcomed Dave Drury, who
remained a trusted employee for four years before leaving in 1997 to pursue his
career; Phil Edgar, his replacement, joined us soon after. In 1998 Daniel Wood,
who is in his second year of training at Taunton SCAT, joined the business. In
2000 we welcomed our newest members to the business, Gary Wright who joined in
March, and Mark Parsons who started in July. Mark has joined Daniel at SCAT and
is in his first year. |

| All employees, with the exception of
Daniel and Mark, are fully trained with City and Guild
Qualifications. |

| The business is registered with the
Institute Of Plumbing
and CORGI. In 1998,
under CORGI Registration, two operatives and myself were successfully assessed
by the CITB in the following Gas Elements (all of which are re-assessed every 5
years, the next being 2003):- |

equipped to carry out the work in hand. |

| We can offer work and a range of services
from a tap washer to a full plumbing and heating system, dealing with both the
domestic and commercial sectors. |

| We work for various small local builders
as well as dealing with private individuals, and offer a Supply Only, Labour
Only or Supply and Fix Service. |
